The owner of this prime positioned, listed, London townhouse approached MMKM to design, reconfigure and extend the property. A key aspect of the development concentrates on improving the properties’ connection with the walled garden to the rear. The proposed scheme looks to rejuvenate this listed property by removing the existing, dated, non-original addition. MMKM sought to tidy the massing at the rear of the property whilst provide connections with the garden beyond. 

 

Internally, the design looks to sensitively reinstate the building’s original features, developing the rooms into a manageable usable spaces for modern family living.
